“Through my participation in the project development, I regularly exchange with people from other horizons, both inside and outside Europe, and I have been exposed to other ways to work. This international aspect is very exciting. Not to mention the fact that working for a project that is in its early stages is very motivating. Everything has to be built, even the facilities that will host the centre! My areas of activity are diverse: I have an interface role between Prof. Bardy and the various partners such as Languedoc-Roussillon incubation and the UM1-Entreprendre foundation. I am also in contact with the architects and the entrepreneurs who wish to join EuroMov as well as with PhD students and researchers. My job is diverse, and the atmosphere within the M2H laboratory is very enjoyable… which motivates me to continue the adventure!”

« En participant à la construction de ce projet, je côtois des personnes d’autres horizons, au-delà même de l’Europe, et je vois d’autres façons de travailler que celles que l’on a en France. Cet aspect international est passionnant. Sans compter le fait que de participer à un centre en devenir est très motivant. Tout est à construire, y compris le bâtiment ! Mon activité est très variée : j’ai un rôle d’interface entre Euromov et le Professeur Bardy  et différents partenaires comme Languedoc Roussillon Incubation et la Fondation UM1 Entreprendre. Je suis aussi en contact avec les architectes,  également avec les entreprises qui souhaitent entrer dans EuroMov, avec les doctorants et les chercheurs. Le travail est diversifié et l’ambiance vraiment très bonne au sein du laboratoire M2H… ce qui me motive pour continuer l’aventure ! »

SKILLS is the international conference of the SKILLS European Project (IST, Multimodal Interfaces, 2007-2011). More than 200 participants from Europe and all over the world will come to the CORUM International Convention Centre, in Montpellier from December 15-16, 2011.

SKILLS est la conférence internationale du projet européen SKILLS (IST, Interfaces multimodales, 2007-2011). Plus de 200 chercheurs européens / ou du monde entier seront réunis au centre international de congrès Le CORUM, les 15-16 Décembre 2011.

Hermano Krebs from MIT will participate to a EuroMov workshop jointly organized by the M2H laboratory with the Robotic Department at UM2 (LIRMM Laboratory) and the Montpellier and Nîmes Hospitals. The workshop – INTERACTIVE REHABILITATION AND ROBOTICS – will be held at the Medical Faculty, Montpellier-1 University on October 2010.
